If you ever used a text editor before, you probably know you can put some text in bold, italic, insert images or links. But a classic word editor is actually complicated and super smart!

With Chisai, we are only editing basic text files and we don't have this super editor magic. We need to manually insert in our text file where is the italic, the bold, the link, the image.

This is why we use MARKDOWN, a writing technique. Chisai actually understands Markdown and when the site is constructed, will transform it for the browser. It can be troubling at first but it's easy to memorize.
